There's two new opportunities to learn more about crofting this month with the start of the Crofting Induction courses and a new Scottish Parliament Information Centre (SPICe) briefing on the Crofting Reform bill.

The crofting induction courses take place at several locations across Northern Scotland and are a ten week, part-time evening course.  The course is designed for new and aspiring crofters and anyone else with an interest in finding out more about how crofting works.  For further information, including location and enrolment details, go to the Scottish Crofting Federation's website.

The SPICe briefing has been prepared for members of the Rural Affairs and Environment committee.  It provides a background to crofting law, before looking at the provisions of the current Crofting Reform bill.  The briefing can be found here.
